Founder & CEO
Lori Williams
Lori Williams is the owner/founder of Lori Williams - Senior Services, LLC. She has lived in Dallas for 25 years and has worked in the senior industry for over 17 years. Her passion for seniors began when her grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia. Lori has a Bachelor in Science, Marketing degree from Louisiana State University. She is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) & Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).
Her business was voted Best of Denton County 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 for Senior Services.​ Lori is the creator and host of the Podcast, “Aging in Style with Lori Williams” and was the co-host of the former Podcast/YouTube show, "The Girlfriends' Guide to Senior Living."
Lori has been married for 33 years to her husband Mark. On Christmas Day 2022, Mark suffered a series of 4 strokes. Since that time, Lori has been his advocate and caregiver, which has given her even more insight into what the families she works with are dealing with on a daily basis. Lori and Mark have two children, ages 27 and 20.

Karyl Thomas
Karyl Thomas is originally from Tucson and has been a resident of DFW for nearly 6 years. She has over 25 years combined experience in senior living and healthcare. Karyl has a profound passion for supporting seniors; a passion that has guided her career journey.

An unforgettable moment in Karyl’s life occurred when her 93-year-old grandmother proudly served as her matron of honor. This touching gesture symbolized the deep value Karyl places on family and the respect she holds for seniors.
​
In addition to her successful professional life, Karyl is happily married and has two children. Her daughter, Sage, is also a team member of Lori Williams-Senior Services, and they collaborate on senior living placement, utilizing their shared passion to help older adults find the ideal communities where they can flourish.
​
During leisure time, Karyl enjoys DIY projects, particularly focusing on their 1979 home. She finds satisfaction in transforming and enhancing her home. An interesting fun fact about Karyl and Sage is they both ride unicycles. Karyl’s extensive experience and unwavering dedication to senior care, embodies the remarkable blend of family values and compassion to serve others.

Senior Care Specialist - Denton & Collin County
Sarah Polan
Sarah has spent the past two years working in senior living. She has a Bachelors of Science in Music Therapy from Texas Woman's University.
Sarah's initial plan was to work with children, but after an internship at Trustbridge Hospice, she found her true passion was serving older adults. Sarah has lived in Denton for most of her adult life. When she is not working, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband , working in her garden and illustrating. She recently published her first children's book and has plans for more in the future. Sarah is always excited to help families and loves engaging with different communities in her area.

Nickole Weisinger
Nickole Weisinger is a native Texan and has lived in Dallas nearly 30 years and in Lake Highlands for almost a decade.
She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in Psychology and she has worked in senior living for 12 years. Nickole’s compassion for seniors stems from living with her grandparents and many summers visiting her great grandmother. It brings back her best childhood memories to work with seniors, listen to their stories about love, life, loss and all things in between. When Nickole is not helping Seniors, she enjoys her free time with her 2 children, riding her bike around White Rock Lake and driving down to the coast to enjoy the beach.​

Karen Weatherford
Karen Weatherford has worked in the senior industry for the past 30+ years, and she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
Her true love is helping people, especially seniors. Karen knows first hand what it is like when a senior loved one needs help, and she uses her compassion and experience to help families during this difficult time. Karen also owns a Performance Blogging Online business where she blogs about senior subjects. Karen was born in Harrison, Arkansas and attended The University of Arkansas. Following college, she was fortunate enough to be able to travel the world before settling down to raise her (by then school age) children, Kara and Stormy.

Christi Miles
Christi began her career in senior living more than 25 years ago, working as an Activities Director at the community level. She switched emphasis in 2004 and has held sales and marketing roles.
​
A proud graduate from the University of North Texas, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Gerontology in 2000 and has since devoted her life and career to senior living and care.
​
Outside of work, Christi is recently married and has two teenage boys whose ballgames and regular social events keep the family on the move. In her spare time, she enjoys being among family, and loves karaoke, Mexican food and the Dallas Cowboys.

Ashley Farris
Ashley has volunteered and worked with those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s for nearly 30 years. Her spirit of compassion engages seniors, allowing her to get to know them on a personal level. Over her career, she has curated a process through music & coloring that connects with seniors in a manner very personal and therapeutic for them. She is excited to pursue the other side of senior living by helping families find the best options for their loved one.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband of 26 years and their three adult children and one son-in-law. She is actively involved in her church and enjoys writing, reading, traveling, learning to play pickle ball, and listening to podcasts.

Business Development
Mark Williams
Mark Williams is responsible for Business Development. He works closely with all of our partner properties to ensure that we always have the most current information on pricing, specials and availability. He also spends time in the community sharing our mission to serve seniors.
Mark spent most of his career working in the Mortgage Banking industry. In his last position he was VP of Operations. He made a career change five years ago when he accepted a position in Senior Living. Mark discovered a passion for serving seniors, when he went to work as the Sales Leader for an Independent Living community.
Mark is the proud father of two amazing kids and three spoiled dogs. He enjoys traveling with his family – especially to DisneyWorld!

Senior Care Specialist - Dallas County
Sage Thomas
Sage is originally from Tucson, Arizona, she had the opportunity to spend a year in Hawaii before relocating to Dallas, where she has been living for the past year.
​
Her love for creativity extends to various forms, including painting and music, which she finds to be therapeutic and very fulfilling. As a dedicated animal lover, she currently shares her home with 11 different animals, including dogs, cats, and several reptiles.
​
Growing up close to several senior family members, she has always been drawn to the senior living world. Her Great Aunt at age 90 played a pivotal role in her life by teaching her how to play the piano. Her love for music was infectious, and she passed that passion down to Sage. Her Grandmother shared stories, life experiences, and wisdom that she continues to carry with her to this day. The interest was further amplified by her parents, who have been a part of the senior industry for over 10 years. Her personal experiences and exposure have given her insight and understanding into the unique challenges and needs of seniors and their families.

She is excited to use her knowledge and passion to help families navigate the complexities of senior care. Her goal is to provide compassionate personalized care solutions that improve the quality of life for seniors while also bringing peace of mind to their loved ones.

Community Liaison
Jennifer Swieter
In this new role, Jennifer will be staying in close contact with all of our community partners. We value all of the communities we work with and want to ensure that we are providing them with top notch service. Having the most up to date information on pricing, availability, etc. also allows us to better serve our families and seniors in their search for a community.
Jennifer grew up in Dallas, and graduated from Highland Park High School. She graduated from The American University in Washington, DC with a degree in Communications.
Jennifer and her husband Rick have been married for 25 years and live in Flower Mound. They have two daughters who are both in college at Texas A&M.
Jennifer is also the primary caregiver of her mother, and she often cares for her father and his wife. She personally knows the challenges and rewards that come with being a caregiver of a senior loved one.
