Lori Williams,
Founder
Lori Williams is the owner/founder of the multi-award-winning Senior Placement Service Lori Williams - Senior Services, LLC. She has lived in Dallas for 25 years and has worked in the senior industry for over 18 years. Her passion for seniors began when her grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia. Lori has a Bachelor in Science, Marketing degree from Louisiana State University. She is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) & Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).
Lori is the creator and host of the Podcast, “Aging in Style with Lori Williams” and was the co-host of the former Podcast/YouTube show, "The Girlfriends' Guide to Senior Living."
In 2022, Lori's life took an unexpected turn as her husband Mark suffered a series of strokes that left him disabled. After becoming his primary caregiver, Lori learned that 70-80% of Strokes are preventable, and felt called to bring awareness to the topic. Since then, Lori wrote her first book, 'Surrounded by Love: One Family's Journey Through Stroke Recovery' and became a frequent speaker at local and online events, sharing what she's learned along the journey about caregiving, medical and insurance resources, and the importance of being an advocate to a loved one.
Lori has been married for 30+ years, and currently lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, 2 adopted kids, and their mischievous golden retriever, Sadie.

Aging Advocate
Karyl Thomas
Karyl Thomas is originally from Tucson and has been a resident of DFW for nearly 6 years. She has over 25 years combined experience in senior living and healthcare. Karyl has a profound passion for supporting seniors; a passion that has guided her career journey.
An unforgettable moment in Karyl’s life occurred when her 93-year-old grandmother proudly served as her matron of honor. This touching gesture symbolized the deep value Karyl places on family and the respect she holds for seniors.
In addition to her successful professional life, Karyl is happily married and has two children. Her daughter, Sage, is also a team member of Lori Williams-Senior Services, and they collaborate on senior living placement, utilizing their shared passion to help older adults find the ideal communities where they can flourish.
During leisure time, Karyl enjoys DIY projects, particularly focusing on their 1979 home. She finds satisfaction in transforming and enhancing her home. An interesting fun fact about Karyl and Sage is they both ride unicycles. Karyl’s extensive experience and unwavering dedication to senior care, embodies the remarkable blend of family values and compassion to serve others.
Senior Tech Specialist
Chris Williams
Christopher is passionate about using technology to help older adults stay safe, independent, and connected. Currently pursuing a degree in business, Christopher brings both personal and professional experience to his role. For the past 2½ years, he has been a dedicated caregiver to his father, a stroke survivor—a journey that has fueled his commitment to improving the lives of seniors through practical, easy-to-use solutions.
His connection to older adults began in high school, where his first job was serving residents at a local independent living community—a role he held for two years and loved. A true “dog whisperer,” Christopher also plans to complete therapy dog training with his beloved golden retriever, Sadie, so they can visit senior living communities together.
When he’s not helping families with aging solutions, you’ll find him traveling, watching anime, or hanging out with Sadie. Christopher’s mission is clear: to make aging safer, smarter, and more empowering for everyone—using the tools and insights he's gained as both a caregiver and an advocate.
Creative Projects & Printer Whisperer
Abby Williams
Abby is in her senior year at the University of North Texas, completing her degree in Art with a concentration in Painting and Drawing. She brings her artistic flair and creative energy to everything she does—from designing logos and T-shirts to tackling any project that needs a creative touch (always with a smile). She's affectionately known as the "printer whisperer"—somehow, the office printer only seems to work when Abby’s around.
Abby has a big heart for seniors. Following in the footsteps of her older brother, she began working as a server at a local independent living community in high school, later becoming the weekend receptionist at an assisted living community. She also helps care for her dad, a stroke survivor, and knows firsthand the joys and challenges of caregiving.
When she’s not creating or troubleshooting printers, Abby enjoys traveling, crocheting, and shopping at Target.
Paw-sitive Engagement Officer
Sadie
Meet Sadie, our lovable Golden Retriever and self-made therapy dog who takes her role as Paw-sitive Engagement Officer to heart.
Sadie created this important job for herself when her dad, Lori’s husband Mark, suffered four strokes, stepping in as his steadfast protector and source of emotional support. In addition to her love of treats and daily walks, she’s passionate about her neighborhood watch duties, ensuring everyone’s safety and earning the nickname “Gladys Kravitz” from Bewitched.
Sadie’s dedication and uplifting spirit make her a frequent mention on the Aging in Style podcast, where she’s celebrated for her unwavering loyalty and the joy she brings to everyone around her.
